again, i’m probably contradicting someone here, but i cant stand seeing those “Welcome new followers @somebody and @someoneelse tweets.” They serve no purpose except to clog up a timeline.

I started using that feature of TweetLater myself about two months back, but I soon got sick of seeing them all in my own timeline, so realising if it bothered me it would certainly bother others, I turned it off.
I do use an auto DM to let new followers know that I will check out their profile and probably follow them back.

fulltimecasual .. yep agree, the purpose they serve it to get ppl a higher rating in the twittergrader. otherwise it could be done in DM
