    Don’t tell people, on Friday afternoon, that your Twitter page will be “down for maintenance until Monday”. Brave it and tell them you’re having the weekend off. Honestly!

    If you seem personable then people are going to expect you to be like a person … and face it, most people take the weekend off so it’s not unreasonable for them to expect them for you, a person, to be taking the weekend off either!

    I have to admit, Bigpond saying their Twitter would be ‘down for maintenance’ is possibly the most bizarre thing I’ve seen on Twitter – possibly Bizarre enough to deserve its own t-shirt.
